Mr. Khanal is a qualified chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in the year 2013 & a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN). He is also a commerce graduate from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), India, and has a certification degree of Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. 

He is currently working as Managing Partner in M/s U.V. Associates, Chartered Accountants, a CA firm based in Kathmandu. Mr. Khanal is Co-founder and Chairman of Miyo Securities P. Ltd., a securities broker firm (Broker no.66) licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). Mr. Khanal has previously worked as Group C.F.O. in one of the Industrial groups in Nepal.
